O’Neil Foundation makes its first contribution

Foundation Donation to Shriners HospitalBoard members made a presentation yesterday to the Directors of The Shriners Hospital for Children in Boston. Due to contributions of time and money from all of our supporters, including you, we are proud to announce our first donation to Shriners in the amount of $10,000.00 !! The funds presented will be used by Shriners Care Coordinators to assist families during a most trying time. We have asked that all proceeds are used to further our goal of keeping families together as they work to help their little ones recover. The burden of expenses such as gas, food, travel, lodging and others will be offset and the main goal of a child’s fast and healthy recovery, surrounded by family, can be the main focus.

As a reminder, your contribution of time or funds, has been received in the memory of the 492 victims of the Cocoanut Grove Fire. Thomas , Catherine and Isabelle O’Neil all perished on November 28th, 1942 at the nation’s worst nightclub fire. Their memory and the memory of all of those affected by this tragedy now live on in the hearts of children assisted by our Foundation. When I say “our” I mean it. You are now among those that have helped make a bad situation better and for that we say thank you !!

Please continue to visit  this website to view press releases concerning the distribution of funds throughout the year and read about the history of our organization. We thank you for your support and encourage you to contact us at any time should you have any questions or would like to help in our mission.

Our sincere thanks,

Chris O’Neil
